As the managing director, Charles is responsible for the management of Ideal Consulting and plays an important role in facilitating and acting as an advisor in project meetings held with various specialists and stakeholders. Charles is known in the development industry for the ground-breaking work in changing the way stakeholders approach residential developments through the integration of not only various residential tenure, but also taking other land uses through mixed use into account. He has extensive experience in property development for more than 25 years, where he established a well-respected network of professionals which poses as a great advantage to Ideal Consulting.

Elouise Naude

Elouise specialises in regional planning, legislation and different municipal policies. She has more than 7 years of experience in the economic and property development space and always seeks for creative solutions to enable clients and property developers to approach their project/ development efficiently and compliant in terms of the current challenges in the development industry. Elouise is well informed with the current policies and legislation affecting property development and legal land use compliance.

Hugo Slabber

Hugo plays an important role in Ideal Consulting bringing the thoughts and expectations of the project to realisation by liaising with local government and aligning the thought processes to ensure a positive outcome with prospective projects. He is an extremely reliable town planner and always puts the need of the client and company first.

Khanyi Mahlangu

Khanyi is responsible for designing and developing corporate identities for Ideal’s flag-ship projects. She is also a key-member in compiling and submitting numerous land use applications (such as consents, rezonings and township establishments) in various municipalities. Khanyi has the ability to communicate with all spheres of government and parties involved with development projects and has proven to be an exceptional asset to not only the company, but also to the clients she represents.

Marlien Loots

Professional Senior Architectural Technologist

• National Diploma in Interior Design, Technikon Witwatersrand (1997)

Marlien is a vibrant member of the Ideal Consulting team with more than 20 years of experience as a Senior Architectural Technologist. She is up to date with the latest building regulations and requirements as set out by the various local authorities. Marlien has a passion for the building industry which is evident in her meticulous approach to design, cost effective and functional urban environments and buildings. Marlien has worked with a myriad of clients from different backgrounds. Her personal interaction with her clients ensures that her clients’ needs are being met, resulting in a large satisfaction rate for the company.
